Willard D. Allen, Jr. of Hainesport Twp. passed away May 28, 2008 at Virtua-Memorial Hospital in the Samaritan Hospice Unit in Mount Holly. He was 61.

Willard was born in Mount Laurel, NJ and had lived in Burlington County all his life.

He was a member of the Civil Air Patrol. Willard was a
former Burlington County Sheriff Officer and a truck driver.

Predeceased by his father, Willard Allen, he is survived by his children: Emma Allen, Willard Allen III, Anthony Allen, Judy Evans, Margaret Allen, Ernest Allen, Sara Allen, and Kim Allen; his mother, Emma Allen, and nine grandchildren. He is also survived by five sisters and seven brothers.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, May 31st at 11 AM at the LEE FUNERAL HOME, 317 High St., Mount Holly. Relatives and Friends may visit with the family Saturday morning from 10 to 11 AM at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Woodlane Graveyard Cemetery at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Willard to the American Cancer Society, 1851 Old Cuthbert Road, Cherry Hill, NJ 08034.
