Mrs. Marion M. Moller, 78, of Canterbury Drive, died Friday, June 29, 2007, peacefully at home after a long illness.
Mrs. Moller was born March 10, 1929, on Long Island, the daughter of Harry and Ruth (Poole) Neumair.
She was a homemaker all of her life and had lived in Cobleskill with her daughter since 2002. Before that, she and her husband resided in Jefferson, moving there from West Islip in the 1980s.
Marion was a talented artist, specializing in porcelain dolls and ceramics. Her hobbies included gardening and embroidery. She was the first mate of the Sally-Seven.
She married William Moller in 1950, and he predeceased her in 1993.
Survivors include five children, Linda Carpenter of Richmondville, Gary Moller (Lora) of Jefferson, Shari Moller of Cobleskill, Wanda Gangel (Geoffrey) of Narrowsburg, and William Moller (Katherine) of Jefferson; six grandchildren, Tara Carpenter, Coles Jason Carpenter, Emily Moller, Paul Moller, Stephanie Moller and Jenna Gangel; her great-grandchild, Evan Carpenter; and her brother, Harry Neumair.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, July 2, in Evergreen Cemetery, Jefferson.
Friends may call at the Mereness-Putnam Funeral Home on Sunday from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
