Son of Hiram Horton, Esq. and Sarah Drury Horton. Married to Adeline Wead, 20 Jan 1822, Malone NY. Children: William Loyal, Frederick Wead (b. 1827 d. 1828), Adaline (sp?) Wead, and Frederick (b. 1838). Guardian of grandchildren, Anna Melissa Horton (my great-grandmother) and George F Horton after their father, William Loyal Horton, died in 1861.
