Mr. Sanders, born in Arcadia, La., and a resident of Shreveport most of his life, died Thursday, May 24, 1984, at Schumpert Medical Center, after a brief illness. He was retired as a maintenance supervisor at Barksdale Air Force Base, where he had been employed for 12 1/2 years. Mr. Sanders was a member of Mt. Mariah Methodist Church in Arcadia.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Nora Sanders of Shreveport; three daughters, Mrs. Mary Killian of Vivian, La., Mrs. Jeannet Dewil of Florien, La., and Mrs. Brenda Carte of Oil City, La.; two sisters, Mrs. Uva Bell Shepherd, and Mrs. Myrtis Welch of Shreveport; one brother, Truma A. Sanders of Bossier City, La.; five grandsons, three granddaughters, and several nieces and
nephews.
