OHATCHEE — Graveside services for Mrs. Edna Lee Aderholt, age 80, will be at 3 p.m. Thursday, September 6, 2007 at Ohatchee First Baptist Cemetery with the Rev. Sammy Legon officiating. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 tonight, September 5, 2007 at the funeral home. Mrs. Aderholt passed away Monday, September 3, 2007 at Jacksonville Health and Rehab.
Survivors include her daughter; Gayle O'Dell and husband, Jimmy of Ohatchee; brothers, Herschell Simpson and wife, Faye, of Ohatchee, Jerry Simpson, of Pell City; grandchildren Rhonda Smitherman and husband, Rodney, Celena Willis and husband Mike, Tiffaney Pesnell and husband, Shannon, Lee Curtis and wife, Terri; ten great-grandchildren, Cory, Matthew, Chelsea, Chance, Makenna, Chase, Trey, Carson, Tripp and Baylee; several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Rodney Smitherman, Mike Willis, Shannon Pesnell, Cory Curtis, Matthew Sedenik, Chance Smitherman and Chase Smitherman.
Mrs. Aderholt was a native of Calhoun County and resident of Ohatchee. She was retired from Anniston Army Depot. She was a member of the Ohatchee First Baptist Church.
Mrs. Aderholt was preceded in death by her husband, Hoyte Aderholt; daughter Charlotte Napier; son-in-law Del Napier; parents, Roy and Ethel Simpson; brothers Wallace, Nealy and James "Speedy" Simpson.
Mrs. Aderholt was a very loving mother, Granny, Grandma and sister. She will be dearly missed.
