Herbert S. Cook, Jr. a native of Buffalo, NY and a Ft Worth resident since 1961, died Wed. Nov 29th. A veteran of the US Marine Corps. Service in WWII and the Korean conflict, he was the owner of an advertising and publishing comapany, Intercom Co. A member of Redeemer Lutheran Church, Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association, Marine Corps Aviation Associatoin, Experimental Aircraft Association and the Ft Worth Civic Leaders Association.
Funeral services will be held at 11am Friday at Harveson and Cole Funeral Home, Ft Worth. Pstor Harold Hein officiating. Services at the graveside 2pm Friday under military auspices. Interment: Moore Cemetery, Chalk Bluff, McLennan County TX.
Survivors: his wife, Ann Yowell Cook, Ft Worth; children, Cynthia Chiattini, Italy; Steven Lee Cook and Karen Ellen Cook, Ft Worth; a grandson, Alexander Alfideo Chiattini; sisters, Marjorie Barry, Lockport NY, and Norma Morden, Cookeville TN.
