Jessie Guice, 92, died Sunday, March 14, 1999, at a local hospital. Services 11am Tuesday at Chalk Bluff Baptist church, Pastor Stephen Jackson and J. W. Roach officiating. Interment Moore Cemetery.

Mrs. Guice was born in Waco and lived here most of her life. Jessie and her husband, the Rev. Noel V. Guice, pastored many churches around Waco, as well as West Texas over a 50 year period. Jessie was preceded in death by her husband, the Rev. Noel V. Guice on May 1, 1998.

Survivors: her daughter Francis York and her husband Bill of Lubbock; her son, Hollis Guice of Wao; her sister, Frances Kuehn of Lorena, three grandchildren, Mrs. Vicki Phillips and husband Paul of Houston, Mrs. Candace York of Austin and Alan C. York of Lockhard and three great-grandchildren, Joshua Phillips and twin girls, Jenny and Julie Phillips of Houston.
