In the year 1883 the Dillon family moved from Illinois to Nebraska coming first to Beatrice where they lived a short while before coming on to Nuckolls county (sic).
On December 24, 1893, he was married to Elizabeth Graham and to this union were born one son and one daughter.
Mr. Dillon had been a member of the Church of Christ for many years, living a faithful and consistent Christian life. He was a man of high ideals and was deeply devoted to his family. He was ever ready to help a friend or neighbor and keenly interested in the affairs of the community in which he lived.
His faithful companion preceded him in death on December 11, 1934.
He is survived by the son F.G. Dillon, of Ruskin, the daughter, Mrs. Fern Jorgensen, Loveland, Colorado; two brothers, William and J.C. Dillon, both of Ruskin; two sisters, Mrs. Lillie Parr of Huntington Park, California, Elizabeth Dillon, Nora; several nieces and nephews, and many friends.
Funeral services were Tuesday afternoon, February 8, from the Zulauf funeral home in Superior, conducted by Rev. C.M. Foust of Nelson. Interment was in the Nora cemetery (sic).
