Businessman. Brother of Campbell Soup owner John T. Dorrance, he became the company's general manager in 1923, and succeeded his brother as president of the company in 1930. Under Arthur's leadedrship such Campbell Soup staples as Cream of Mushroom Soup and Chicken Noodle Soup were introduced. During his tenure as well the Campbell Kids started to say "M'm! M'm! Good!" He continued as president till his death.
