Belle Gassaway, a Bellmead homemaker, died Friday in a local hospital. She was 77.

Services: 11am Tuesday at Bellmead Funeral Home Chapel, the Rev. Izan Kar officiating. Burial: Moore Cemetery, Chalk Bluff.

Mrs. Gassaway was born Dec. 20, 1914, in Gholson. She married Ollie Gassaway Dec. 20, 1933; he died in 1984.

Survivors include three daughters, Peggy Morris of Dallas, Bonnie Sanders of Lacy-Lakeview and Judy Abel of Waco; two sons, Randall Gassaway of Waco and Richard Gassaway of Lacy-Lakeview; a brother, T. J. Ryals of Waco; 15 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
