She was a longtime member of the Trinity United Methodist Church of Pennsville; she worked in the Pennsville Post Office for 17 years. During WWII she was in the Red Cross Auxiliary and also served as an airplane spotter.
Survived by three children; Lewis B. Zimmerman, Jr. of Pennsville and his wife Helen of Pennsville, Laura M. Phillips and her husband Joseph of Florida, and Doris B. Jaeger, of Florida, eight grandchildren; Sherri Zimmerman, Lewis Zimmerman, III, Kathy Markman and Barbara Norris all of Pennsville, Bonnie Hicks, Allen Henderson, Patricia Ryks and Ronald Jaeger all of Florida, seven great grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.
Predeceased by her husband of 54 years; Lewis B. Zimmerman, Sr., grandson; Michael Jaeger, and a son-in-law Robert Jaeger. She was a triplet and one of 13 children (8 brothers and 4 sisters) all of whom predeceased her.
Funeral services will be held at the LAUGHREY FUNERAL HOME where friends may call. Burial will be at the Lawnside Cemetery, Woodstown.
