Son of Eli Earl Sr and Matilda Hester Burke Earl, Husband of Anna Francis Brandriff Earl. Married Apr. 17, 1873. William and Anna had seven children, Flora Lummis Earl, Edna Myrtle Earl, Laura Brandriff Earl, Elsie Vandevere Earl, Myrtle Cora Earl, Leroy Parker Earl, and Nellie May Earl.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at the Centre Grove M.E. Church, on Sunday, March 7th, at 2:30 P.M. Interment in Centre Grove Cemetery.

CONTRIBUTOR'S NOTE: Myrtle Cora Earl Zimmerman, the daughter of William F. Earl kept a diary and lists of family births, deaths and marriages. Here is what she wrote about her father's death. "My father, William Earl died March 4, 1920 suddenly in Lanning's field getting corn fodder with Ernest Earl. He had been suffering from indigestion; his sudden death came from Cerebral Hemorrhage".
