Robert L. Jaeger, age 73 of Largo, FL., formerly of Pennsville died Thursday, January 27, 2005 at the Hospice House Woodside, Pinellas Park, FL.

Born in Guttenberg, Iowa to the late Charles E. and Veronica Matt Jaeger. Robert was a longtime resident of Pennsville, NJ, living in Florida for the past 19 years.

Bob was employed as a chemical engineer for DuPont Chambers Works, Deepwater, where he retired in 1985 following 30 years of service. Member of the DuPont Veterans Association.

Bob served his country in the US Air Force, 715th Bombardment Squadron during the Korean War.

Survived by his wife of 50 years, Doris B Zimmerman Jaeger, daughters; Patricia L. Ryks of St. James City, FL, and Barbara L. Norris of Pennsville, son; Ronald L. Jaeger of Largo, FL, grandchildren; Gary L. Hawn of Seward, PA, Brandon M. Nelson and David L. Nelson of Vineland, Crystal G. Hawn of Pennsville, great-grandchildren; Frankie and Tiffany, brothers; William Jaeger and John "Jack" Jaeger of Pennsville, and Rodney Jaeger of Homosassa, FL, sisters; Elizabeth "Betty Lou" Turnage of Kitty Hawk, NC, Katherine "Kay" Nothdurft of Swedesboro, Jeanne Pruitt of Richmond, VA, and Shirley Dodgen of Pennsville,and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by son, Michael L. Jaeger.

A memorial service will be held at the Laughrey Funeral Home, Pennsville where friends may call. Burial will follow at the Lawnside Cemetery, Woodstown.
