Josephine Elizabeth Draper Jones, 87, of 1016 West Avenue, Fulton, Missouri, died April 20, 1956 at Callaway County Hospital of Cerebral Attero Schlerosis, General Artero Schlerosis. She was attended by R.N. Crews MD. Informant was her niece, Lela Craighead Williams, daughter of the deceased, of Fulton.

She was born March 19, 1869 in St. Joseph, Michigan, the daughter of David and Leah (Spring) Draper.

She married Federick Samuel "Sam" Jones, on January 15, 1891 in a double wedding with her sister, Lillie, in Callaway County. He preceeded her in death on January 24, 1946. There were no children born of this union. Josie was a housewife.

She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by several nieces and nephews and her brother, Elsworth Elmer Draper.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Lillie Draper Craighead.

Arrangements were under the direction of Leo Wallace Funeral Home in Fulton. Burial in Hillcrest Cemetary in Fulton on April 22, 1956.
