Son of Judge Robert Willis Miller and Matilda (Morrison) Miller. Husband of Marion Mason (Loomis) Miller (1896-1941) and Elizabeth Zane (Speakman) Miller (1904-1983).

Obituary -
"W. LESLIE MILLER, 79, of 22 Southwind Road, died at 9 AM Wednesday at his home. Miller retired in 1967 as owner of W. L. Miller, Inc. insurance agency. He had come to Louisville in 1950 from New York where he had been a vice-president of the General Insurance Co. of America. In Louisville he was executive vice-president of the Louisville Fire & Marine Insurance Co. from 1950 to 1953 when he was made president. He was a San Francisco, Calif. native and a veteran of World War I in which he had flown a Spad fighter. Miller was a member of St. Mark Episcopal Church, Big Spring Country Club, and the Pendennis Club. Survivors include his wife, the former Elizabeth Zane; two step-sons, Guy Webster of Madison, Wi.; and U. S. Army Captain Arthur T. Webster stationed in West Germany; four grandchildren and a great-grandchild. The funeral will be at 10 AM Saturday at Pearson's, 149 Breckinridge Lane with burial in Cave Hill Cemetery."
