Services for Guy Spear, 73, of 2280 S. Minneapolis, retired, who died Monday, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Downing Mortuary Downtown. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens.
Born in Pottawatomie County, Kansas, he spent most of his life in Wichita. He served in World I. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Masonic Lodge, Wichita Consistory and Midian Shrine.
Survivors include a son, Norman C., Wichita; and three sister, Mrs Lola Thornton, Cudahy, California, and Mrs Mabel Hansen and Mrs. Helen Coyler, both of Wichita.

Guy Spear, who was associated with the Ray Ruth Tailoring Company since 1932, announces he has opened his place of business known as Guy Spear Tailors.
The well known tailor will open his place of business at the old location of the Ray Ruth Company at 208 North Market. He has completely remodeled the rooms, installing new fixtures and new equipment of the latest design.
Mr. Spear is catering to those who want the class of meterials and workmanship. He declares all his woolen fabrics, both domestic and imported, to be all wool.
He now is showin the smartest styles for winter were.
