Mrs. Lackey was born July 9, 1893 in Coryell County and had lived in Kerrville for 35 years. She was a member of the Pentecostal Church and was a Gold Star Mother.
Survivors include four sons, G.W., John and Glenn Lackey, all of Kerrville, and Robert Lackey of Little Rock, Ark.; four daughters, Mrs. B. D. Mayfield of Medina, Mrs. E. E. Johansen of Anahuac, Mrs. H. A. Leyendecker of D'Hanis and Mrs. Gertrude Van Riper of Austin; two sisters, Miss Nellie Gray and Mrs. Emma Joiner, both of Bandera; 27 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren.
