YOUNG MOTHER DIED AFTER OPERATION
Mrs. Ernest Ackmann Passed Away Last Thursday In St. Paul

Mrs. Ernest Ackmann, daughter of Mrs. Bertha Wikstrom of this community and born and raised in Frederic passed away Thursday, December 24, at 4:30 p. m. at St. John's hospital in St. Paul after an operation for appendicitis performed December 17. The cause of death was given as peritonitis. Funeral services were held Sunday at 2 p. m. from the home of H. W. Ackmann at 1025 Lynwood place in St. Paul and from St. Marks Lutheran church at 2:30 p. m., Revs. Rick and Busse conducting the services. Interment was in Elmhurst cemetery in St. Paul.
Agnes Wickstrom was born at Trade Lake August 5, 1898, being aged 27 years, 4 months and 19 days at the time of her untimely death.
She moved with the family to the present home near Frederic and was educated in the Frederic public schools graduating from the public schools here. She was united in marriage to Ernest F. Ackmann at Frederic on December 7, 1919 and lived here until two years ago when they moved to Waverly, Ia. Last July they moved to White Bear where Mr. Ackmann was employed and made their home there. She is survived by her husband and one small son, Leslie Wayne, four years old and by her mother, Mrs. Bertha Wikstrom, six brothers and four sisters, Elmer, Wilbur, Anna, Lillian, Ervin, Lloyd, Ione, Estelle, Vern and Roy.
Attending the funeral services Sunday from Frederic were Mrs. Wikstrom, Elmer, Wilbur, Anna and Lillian Wikstrom and Mr. and Mrs. Martin Hansen.
Pall bearers were Pardon Kimball, Will Weichman, Ed Weichman, Eric Stoss, Swan Hedlund and Fred Kline.
As a token of the esteem in which this young wife and mother was held by her acquaintances and her many friends the casket was covered with flowers.
