Barbara Ann (Shelton) Baker, age 66, joined the Lord on Wednesday, June 18, 2008, at home with her loving family by her side.
She was born January 5, 1942, in Hillsboro [Highland County], Ohio.
Barbara is survived by her husband of thirty years, Douglas Baker; her five sons, Ronnie Dillow, James Dillow, Larry Throckmorton, Richard Throckmorton, and Brian Throckmorton, and her two beautiful daughters, Betty Dillow and Kimberly Throckmorton; sixteen special grandchildren, and fifteen great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Olin and Eva Shelton, one brother, Ronnie Shelton, and a half-sister, Blanche Storer.
Barbara's favorite hobbies were shopping and dining out. She loved flowers and listening to the rain as it fell on the tin roof. When the rain falls let us remember this very special woman that touched our hearts so deeply. I know you will always be looking over us Mom, from the window up above.
The family would also like to Thank Hospice of NW Ohio for their help and support with Barbara during these past few months.
At the time of her passing, Barbara was a resident of Luckey, Ohio. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, June 24, 2008,at 2 p.m. at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro, Ohio, with burial following in the Hillsboro Cemetery.
