Death at 2:45pm Sunday claimed Mrs. Hilda Roberta Huffman of near Circleville, she passing away in the home of a daughter Mrs. Ralph Wrightsel of 1225 Kinney's Lane, Portsmouth. She had been ill three years and in a critical condition since Labor day.
Mrs Huffman was born Feb 22, 1862 in Kingston, Ohio, and was a daughter of Jacob and Anna Norris Haws. She was married July 10, 1879 to Wilson Huffman. The husband and three children survive; Otis of Columbus, Charles M. of Thomas Ave, Portsmouth, and Mrs. Wrightsel. One sister Mrs Anna Ross of Wheeling, W.Va, and 11 grandchildren also survive. She was a member of a Methodist church near Circleville.
Funeral services will be held at the Windel-Howland funeral home at 10am Tuesday and will be in charge of Rev. M.F. Betz, pastor of Franklin Avenue Methodist church. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery near Kingston. The body will remain at the funeral home.
