--YOUNG WIFE DIES--Mrs. James Rector Called.--Funeral and Burial at Fairview.--

Mrs. James Rector passed away Sunday evening at her home four miles southeast of Battle Creek after an illness of about three months with quick consumption induced by an attack of measles.
Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Chamberlain at the Fairview church Monday afternoon and the remains were laid to rest in the Fairview cemetery beside a little 3-year-old daughter who died April 6, this year.
Mrs. Rector was 24 years old April 30, 1916. She was a native of Virginia and came to Madison county from the mother state shortly after her marriage to Mr. Rector about six years ago. She is survived by the husband and one little child. Her death comes as a dark shadow to the young husband, bereft within a few months of a loving wife and a bright little daughter to whom he was greatly attached.Wife of James Rector.
