Funeral Services Were Held in the
M. E. Church Here Tuesday
Afternoon.
The funeral services of Mrs. Thos.
Agar of Caro were held here in the
M.E. church Tuesday afternoon.
Mrs. Agar passed away Saturday
morning in her home after an illness
of two weeks, although she had been
in continued poor health the past
four years. The deceased had been
married 10 years and leaves a husband
and little son, Harmon, aged
three years. She was taken in the
prime of life at the age of 33 years.
Mrs. Lucy D. (Terry) Agar of this place was a sister
of the deceased.
The funeral sermon was preached
by Roy. Weaver of this place. Music
was furnished by a mixed quartette
consisting of Mesdames Schenck and
Pinney and Messrs. Keating and
Yakes. Messrs. Lewis and Howard
Rutherford, Arthur VanBlaricon, William
Wood, Mason Leek and Morley
Palmateer of Deford acted as pallbearers.
Relatives present from out of town
were: Thos. Agar of Caro, husband
of the deceased; the parents of the
deceased, Mr. and Mrs. F. L. Terry
and their two sons, Max and Roy, of
Alpena; John Agar, Frank McGregory
and family of Caro; Geo. Agar and
family of Elmwood.
