She was a 1947 graduate of Farrell High School. Earlier in her life she was employed at the former W.T. Grant Co. in Hermitage. She and her husband owned and operated the Well, Come In Restaurant in New Wilmington from 1985 to 1993. A homemaker, she was an active member of First Assembly of God in Hermitage, where she also was a member and past president of the DORCAS group. She volunteered for Meals On Wheels at Christ Lutheran Church in Sharon, and Sharon Regional Health System's Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed many card clubs and traveled extensively.
Relatives: four daughters, Paula Sue Boyd of Hermitage, Linda M. Bayuk of New Wilmington, Bethann Andolina of Transfer and Kimberly Jo Bertocchi of Greenville; a son, Jonathan James "Jay" Leali, at home; a brother, Robert Easterling of Sharon; 13 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. A sister, Phyllis Mannerberg; and two brothers, Edward and Eugene Easterling, preceded her in death.
