He was born July 4, 1950, to Bert and Esther Wick at Wenatchee. He graduated from Entiat High School and Wenatchee Valley College. He also attended Central Washington University in Ellensburg.
On Aug. 9, 1975, he married Jan Brauns in Entiat. The couple made their first home in Riverside, where he was manager of Keystone Ranch for 20 years.
He was a member of the Riverside Volunteer Fire Department and attended the Entiat Friends Church.
Survivors include his son, Tye, Riverside; his mother, Esther, Entiat; four brothers, Larry of Auburn, Dale of Monroe, Mark of Riverside and Bruce of Entiat; one sister, Julie Pickering of Moses Lake; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father in 1980.
