Dorothy was the daughter of Charles Wellington Kissinger and mother was Margaret Lucinda Snyder. She was the wife of John Daniel Matter.

MILLERSBURG - Dorothy A. Matter, 82, of Millersburg RD 2 died yesterday in Harrisburg Hospital, Harrisburg. She was retired from Bobbi-Rodgers Manufacturing; was a member of Salem Lutheran Church, Millersburg RD 1, and Dauphin County Farm Women, Rife Group 11; and was a former officer of Woodmen of the World. Surviving are her husband, John D. Matter; two sons, Richard D. of Millersburg RD 1, and Ray R. of Millersburg RD 2; a daughter, Rita J. Glace of Dalmatia RD; a sister, Bertha Thompson of California; a half sister, Lillian Weber of Michigan; 15 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and a step-Patriot News, great-grandchild. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in her church. Burial will be in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, Berrysburg. Viewing will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday at the church.
