CYPHERT, Harold Vernon, (69), Port Charlotte, died Aug. 3, 1998. He was born Oct. 13, 1928, in Clarion Co., Pa., and came to this area from Franklin Pa. He was a truck driver and carnival worker. He was a life member and past senior vice commander of VFW Post 5690 of Port Charlotte, and a member of American Legion Post 110, Moose Lodge No. 2121 and BPO Elks No. 2763 in Deep Creek. He was a member of the Methodist church. He is survived by a grandchild. A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at American Legion Post 110 in Port Charlotte. Internment services will be in Mount Zion Cemetery in New Bethlehem, Pa. International Cremation Society Inc. is in charge.
