Funeral services for Don L. Waller, 72, of Waynesboro, were held Saturday, July 5, 2008, from the Freeman Funeral Home Chapel in Waynesboro, with the Rev. Jim Riley and the Rev. Bruce Cooley officiating. Interment was in the Antioch Cemetery in Wayne County. Born Aug. 13, 1935, and a native of Wayne County, Waller was self employed in the water well repair business. He died Wednesday, July 2, 2008, at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg. Survivors include his wife, Dollie Waller of Waynesboro; two daughters, Delaine Dickerson and husband Jimmy of Waynesboro, and Michelle Crager and husband Mitchell of Chatom, Ala.; three brothers, A. W. Waller and wife Hope of Sherman, Texas, Durward Waller and wife Arla of Sherman, Texas, and Dewey Waller of Citronelle, Ala.; two sisters, Lottie V. Williams of Waynesboro and Annie Lou Dearman of Waynesboro; four grandchildren, Jessica Deese and husband Josh, Daniel Dickerson, Joshua Dickerson and Ashton Bailey; a great-grandchild, Cole Deese; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Annie Waller; his father, Charlie Waller; four brothers, Van Waller, Joe Waller, Neolan Waller and Grady Waller; and a sister, Lavell Barnett. Freeman Funeral Home of Waynesboro was in charge of arrangements.
