Clara, age 98 died Tuesday July 12, 1988 at the Englewood Manor Nursing Center. She was a member of the Trotwood United Church of Chris and the Madison Grange. She lived 56 years in Ridgewood Heights in Dayton, Ohio and was active for over 32 years with Girl Scout Troop #27 and served as a sunday school teacher for 50 years at the Ridgewood Heights United Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband Oscar in 1959 and son Willard in 1971. Survived by son and daughter-in-law Glen & Ruth Nelson of Trotwood, Ohio, 5 grandaughters, Karen Kelley, Kathleen Burton, Susan Nelson, Sarah Nelson and Carla Nelson, and 5 great-grandchildren, Matthew Kelley, Beth Ann Kelley, Rebekah Whited, Amanda Burton and Rachel Whited. Funeral Services were held at 10 AM at the Rogers Funeral Home, Trotwood, Ohio. Pastor Edward Neff officiated. Interment was at Lower Miami Cemetery, Dayton, Ohio.
