Grorge W. is found as a 16 year old son of Thomas and Emma Brown living in with his parents in Warrior River Valley in the 1900 census. There is a George W. Brown in Attalla in 1930 with a wife recorded on the census and indexed as Lula P. , poor handwriting. Also the DoB is about 4 years off. As I remember my father used to deal at the George W. Brown Drug store in Attalla. This requires additional study but that seems to be a good start. Even with a common name that is the only George W. Brown in the Etowah census in 1930. I always had the impression that he may have had an Altoona connection, he sold Terrell's Cumarindine Salve for burns.
