Francis L 'Frank' Gerlach, age 76, died of complications of cancer on January 25, 2003.

Loving husband, father, grandfather, teacher and friend. A CPA and Assistant Professor of Business at the University of St Thomas for 34 years. He has touched the lives of many.

Survived by wife, Alvira; and children, Mary Clare Rieschl, Mike, Meg, Don (Debbie) and Paul (Teri); 14 grandchildren; brothers, Joe and Jerry; sisters, Jean and Ann Prokop; sister-in-law, Pat Hanf.

Visitation Tuesday, January 28 from 4-8 PM at Willwerscheid & Peters Mortuary, 1167 Grand Avenue, St Paul, 651-228-1006. Mass of Christian Burial 10 AM Wednesday, January 29 at The Church of St. Stanislaus, 398 Superior Street, St Paul. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Cretin Derham High School, University of St. Thomas or donor's choice.
