Mrs. Norvell Ill, Nephew Arrives from Beaumont

Mrs. Norvell, who lives alone at the Norvell home on Hand street, has been ill for several days and her condition is said to be very critical today. Throughout her illness she has refused to eat anything and is growing weaker day by day. A nephew by name of Norvell from Beaumont arrived yesterday and has placed his aunt under the care of a physician and nurse and every attention is being given her. Mrs. Norvell is an eccentric old lady, who persisted in living by herself. Some days ago she was discovered out in the yard acting rather strangely and the following day
neighbor ladies called, but the house was locked and they could not get an answer to their alarms. After some discussion entrance was effected by means of a window and the old lady was found ill in her room. Neighbors cared for her until her relative came. Brownwood Daily Bulletin Jan 24, 1908
