John E. Bush,age 67, retired Boeing Expediter, died Tuesday, July 8, 2008. Visitation was held from 10:00am to 8:00pm Thursday, July 10, 2008 with family receiving friends from 6:00pm to 8:00pm, at Smith Mortuary, 1415 North Rock Road, Derby, Kansas. Funeral Service were held at 2:00pm on Friday, July 11, 2008 at Woodlawn United Methodist Church, 431 South Woodlawn, Derby. John was born July 18, 1940 in Parsons, Kansas, the son of Murrel Vern Bush and Lucille Faye (Smith). On July 14, 1963 he married Elizabeth Anne Falconer. She preceded him in death on January 21, 2006. Survivors include: sons, Brian, Independence,Kansas, John Mark (Angela), Derby, Kansas; granddaughter, Alyssa Bush; grandsons, Cody and Skyler Bush, all of Derby, Kansas; brother, Mike (Margo) Bush, Ocala, Florida. A Memorial was established with the Bush Grandchildren Scholarship Fund c/o Verus Bank.
