Amanda Ellen Bledsoe, age 82, passed away February 2, 1980 at the Fentress County General Hospital. Survivors include five sons, Dester Bledsoe of Jamestown, Lonous Bledesoe of Banner Springs, Delmer Bledsoe of Grimsley, Fred Bledsoe of Monterey, Idus Bledsoe of Grimsley, three daughters Effie Smith of Jamestown, Margie Howard of Grimsley, Ruth Whited of Dayton, Ohio, three brothers Leonard Richards of Knoxville, Joe Richards of Grimsley, Albert Richards of Indiana, two sisters Ora Stephens of Savannah, TN, and Addie Richards of Crossville. Also 45 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren.

Services were held Tuesday February 5, at 2:00 PM at the Mt. Carmel Freewill Baptist Church with Bro. Omer Allred officiating. Interment in the Richards Cemetery.

Munday Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
