Joan Evelyn Adriaens, died on Nov. 21, 2005, in Mora.
Funeral services were held on Nov. 26 at Grace Lutheran Church in Mora with the Rev. Douglas Larson officiating. Final disposition was by cremation.
Joan was born on Feb. 6, 1935, in Iowa to Ralph and Josephine (Messersmith) Hayward. She married Floyd Adriaens on Dec. 15, 1978.
She is survived by her husband Floyd; three children Don (Sue) Palmer, Kathy Gilbert and Laurie Palmer; nine step-children Wayne (Mary) Adriaens, Dan Adriaens, Barb (Tom) Dehn, Caron (Mark) Gibson, Tom (Anita) Adriaens, Donna (Brian) Tanner, Jerry (Cindy) Adriaens, David (Sandy) Adriaens, Bryan (Roxy) Adriaens; son-in-law Kevin Nikodym; 27 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brother Ralph Hayward; sister Delores VanderMartin; and many nieces and nephews.
Joan was preceded in death by her daughter Becky Nikodym.
