LIBERAL — Services were held at 10 a.m. Friday, July 11, 2008, at Faith Fellowship Church, Greenfield, for Daniel Dale Toler, 48, Liberal, and Marya K Toler, 50, Liberal, who died Sunday, July 6, 2008, due to injuries sustained in a car accident. Pastor James Jones officiated. Burial was in Liberal City Cemetery.
Music was provided by Lori Bartlett, soloist, and Brandon Frieze. Musical selections were "When We All Get To Heaven", "Each One Reach One" and "I'll Fly Away". Pallbearers were Terry Toler, Mike Toler, Brian Toler, Kevin Toler, John Kesterson, Ron Burnard, Tom Transue and Randi Kesterson.
Survivors include a son, Jameson Toler, Jasper; a daughter, Rebecca Toler, of the home; Marya's father, James Kesterson, Ohio, and her brother, John Kesterson, Washington, and Daniel's brothers, Mike Toler, Texas, and Terry Toler, Jefferson City, and a sister, Melissa Burnard, Georgia.
Mrs. Toler was preceded in death by her mother, Nancy Robbins Transue Kesterson.
Mr. Toler was born Oct. 24, 1959, in Baldwin, Kan., and Mrs. Toler was born May 24, 1958, in Somerville, N.J. They moved to Liberal, and made it their home for over 20 years. Mr. Toler was an owner/operator truck driver, and Mrs. Toler worked at Value Merchandising in Ft. Scott, Kan., for over 10 years.
They were both members of the Faith Fellowship Church in Greenfield.
They were married on Dec. 8, 1979, in Baldwin, Kan.
