Funeral services for George Gibson Cochran, 64, who died Sunday of Pneumonia, were conducted Monday afternoon from the family home five miles southwest of here.
Reverend Gordon Waggoner, Methodist minister at St. Joseph, officiated and burial was made in a cemetery near Fisher.
Mr. Cochran, a lifelong resident of Champaign county, had been in failing health for some time, but had been seriously ill only a week.
Surviving are his widow, and four sons, Cecil Cochran, Robert, Tolono, Clifford and Walter Cochran, at home.
Mr. Cochran was born Sept. 24, 1874 near Fisher, son of J. C. and Louisa Cochran. In 1905 he was married to Maude Dutton, Alden, Ia.
