Mr. Cochran, a lifelong resident of Champaign county, had been in failing health for some time, but had been seriously ill only a week.
Surviving are his widow, and four sons, Cecil Cochran, Robert, Tolono, Clifford and Walter Cochran, at home.
Mr. Cochran was born Sept. 24, 1874 near Fisher, son of J. C. and Louisa Cochran. In 1905 he was married to Maude Dutton, Alden, Ia.
