Mr. Jewell, Near Alquina, Ind holds uncle Sam Bell’ old Family Bible headed a true report of the births of uncles and aunts. John Bell, born Apr 3rd, 1755; Joseph Bell born Aug 22, 1759; Margaret Bell Shields, born Sept 6, 1760; Hugh Bell died Oct 3rd, 1847, age 85 years. Samuel Bell died March 30, 1843 born (?) age70 years. Matt Lair thinks his grandfather Sam Bell moved from Rockingham Co, Virginia to Kentucky. Mrs. Sam Crawford of Raleigh, Rush Co., Ind., says her grandmother Bell carried her father John W. Bell in her lap when they moved to Ky.
