Kiski Township
Phyllis M. Tardivo, 77, of Kiski Township, passed away Friday, April 11, 2008, at her residence. She was born Feb. 27, 1931, in Kiski Township, Armstrong County, daughter of the late Clyde and Matilda Wofford, and lived in Kiski Township all of her life. She was employed as a line worker by Papercraft in Blawnox. She was a member of the Kiski Spaceettes Bowling League at Lee's Lanes and the National Rifle Association. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Oliver V. Tardivo, in 2003; two brothers, Frank and Benjamin Wofford; and two sisters, Marie Rusz and Jeanie Wofford. She is survived by her daughter, Phyllis M. (Tommy) Batzel, of Brookville; three sons, David A. (Megan) Tardivo, of Kiski Township, Ronald J. (Betty) Tardivo, of Kiskimere, and Keith O. (Marge) Tardivo, of Washington Township; nine grandchildren; three great-grandsons; two great-granddaughters; and two sisters, Dorothy Lynne Cramer, of Abileen, Texas, and Lillian (Ralph) Rupert, of Harrisburg. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday in the CURRAN-SHAFFER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY INC., 100 Owens View Ave., Apollo, where services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday with the Rev. Robert Shallenberger officiating. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery, Apollo.
