She was born in Hartsville, S.C., and was the daughter of the late M.B. and Elizabeth Wade Caston.
She was the owner of Tears and Shears Beauty Salon in Joanna, S.C., for 31 years, and was a member of Davidson Street Baptist Church and the Red Hat Society.
Surviving are her husband, Vernon L. Morris of the home; a son, Ronnie L. Morris of Fountain Inn; two daughters and sons-in-law, Cindy Morris Bodie and George of Clinton, and Violet Morris Garrett and Joey of Fountain Inn; a sister, Dorothy C. Dixon of Ft. Pierce, Fla.; two brothers, Wade Caston of Las Vegas, Nev., and Gene Caston; seven grandchildren, Tabatha Bodie, Michelle Tumblenson, Jeffrey and William Bledsoe, Scott Bodie, Stephanie Morris and Jessica Garrett; and three great-grandchildren, Lucas Matthews, Samantha Bledsoe and Mason Fletcher. She had one loving pet, Oliver.
She was predeceased by a brother, Mack Caston.
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, Feb. 12, 2006, at 3 p.m., in the Davidson Street Baptist Church, with entombment in Pinelawn Memory Gardens.
