Son of Enos Barnes Sr and Abigail Luddington. Husband of Olive Gibbs. Father of Ambrose, Tracy and Olive Barnes. He was only about 14 years of age at the onset of Hostilities. 1779: He served with 5th Battalion of the Connecticut Troops. In the year 1818 he was awarded a Revolutionary War Pension of $96.00 per year. He died at South farms September 30, 1823 at the age of 61.
