Elihu Daniel Dell'Aringa, 93, of Vineland, passed away early Sunday morning, July 13, 2008, in the Rainbow Center, Pittsgrove, after being in failing health.

Mr. Dell'Aringa was born in Chicago, raised in Malaga and was a longtime resident of Vineland. He was the son of the late Rev. Peter and Amelia Dell'Aringa. Mr. Dell'Aringa was a graduate of Vineland High School as well as Temple University and Drexel University, where he received a degree in electrical engineering. He owned and operated Elihu Dell'Aringa Electrical Contractor Business. He also was employed as an electrical engineer for Venice Maid, Dorchester Ship Yard and the Green Giant Co.

Elihu enjoyed boating, flying and was an accomplished pilot with many aviation awards for single and multi-engine ratings. After retiring from Green Giant in 1979, he enjoyed working in his orchard of fruit and chestnut trees. He also enjoyed his vineyard of grapes and making his own wine.

He is survived by his wife, Alice (Peroni); two daughters, Loretta Williams and Virginia Dell'Aringa, both of Newfield; two sons, Gerald Dell'Aringa of Vineland and Peter Dell'Aringa of Mays Landing; two grandchildren, April and Barbara Dell'Aringa; great-granddaughter, Abigail Dell'Aringa; brother, John and wife Phyllis Dell'Aringa of Malaga; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Thursday in the Malaga Assembly Church, Dutch Mill Road, Malaga, with burial to follow in the Siloam Cemetery.

Relatives and friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday evening and again from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. on Thursday at the Pancoast Funeral Home, 676 S. Main Road, Vineland.
