A few years later, the family moved to a farm five miles north of Lebanon. Here Clyde Burkhart resided during the remainder of his life, and the Burkhart farm was his home at the time of death.
Mr. and Mrs. Burkhart were married at Albany September 6, 1908, at a double wedding in which Mr. and Mrs. G. C. Keebler of North Albany were the other participants. Mrs. Burkhart and two sons, Karl and Gale, and a brother, Raymond Burkhart of Lebanon survive.
The funeral will be held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the First Presbyterian Church at Lebanon, and burial will be at Lebanon.
Mr. Burkhart was a member of the Elks' Lodge of Albany. Death came to him but a short time after his return from California, where he had gone for his health. He underwent an operation which was preformed in a vain effort to save his life.
