Mr. Jimmy Ray Barnett, age 41, of Dardanelle, AR died Saturday, May 3, 1997, at AMI St. Mary's Hospital in Russellville. He was born June 26, 1955 in Russellville, AR. He was a laborer with Russellville Steel.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Girtha Bailey Barnett and two brothers, James Lee and Jackie Barnett.
Survivors include a daughter, Christy Raeleane Jones of Centerville; his father, John Henry Barnett of Slaty Crossing; a brother, John Phillip Barnett of Chickalah; three sisters, Patsy Dees, Donna Gaddis and Sheila Gilbert all of Slaty Crossing; one grandson, Joseph Layton of Centerville and several nephews and nieces.
Services will be today, Wednesday, May 7, 1997 at 2:00 pm, Cornwell Chapel in Dardanelle with the Rev. Steve Copeland officiating. Interment will be in the Ringer Cemetery, Centerville by Cornwell Funeral Home of Dardanelle.
