William worked for the Santa Clara Lumber Company in the 'Big Mill' in Tupper Lake for several years. The last seven years before his passing, he worked in the postal department at the New York State Bicentenial building.
At the time of his death in 1933 besides his widow and son, 2 sisters and 1 brother survived him: Mrs. Victoria (Benjamin) LaCombe, and Mrs. Cora (Benjamin) Boushie both of Tupper Lake; and a brother George Benjamin of Westernville, near Rome, NY.
