Anna was my grandmother's (Maria Balko) little sister. On her first trip over from Slovakia to Ellis Island my grandma (Maria) was traveling with her mother (Anna) and also her baby brother (Istvan) who we think was buried at sea but we can not find documentation on this. See Istvan Balko (1908-1909).

On their second trip over Anna Balko (the mother), Maria (daughter) and daughter, Anna arrived at Ellis Island but were detained because daughter Anna had a fever. She died and is buried at Maple Grove Cemetery, Kew Gardens, NY
