ADA - Services for John Bret Braddy, 47, Ada, will be conducted at noon Monday from Criswell Funeral Home Chapel. Dr. Scott Fenton will officiate. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Shawnee.
Braddy died Thursday, July 7, 2005, in an Oklahoma City hospital. He was born January 21, 1958, in Ada to John Kenlock and Sue Wammack Braddy. He was a lifelong resident of this area. He graduated from Ada High School in 1976 and received an Industrial Arts degree from East Central University.

A former new car dealership owner in Ada, he was employed by Ram Jack Systems Distribution. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Ada and was a participant in a monthly businessmen's bible study group.

Braddy spent several years on the professional motorcycle racing circuit as one of the top 100 racers in the country. He earned the number 87 from the American Motorcycle Association. Braddy lived the past 30 years as a cancer survivor.

Survivors include his family guardians Marion Fenton and Dorotha Fenton of Ada, Brad and Becky Fenton, Oklahoma City, Scott Fenton, Plano, Texas, and Cindy Fenton Carr, McAlester; additional recognition is expressed for Rusty Bond, Rick Lewis, Breckton Lunsford and Jeremy Johnson.

The family will receive friends from 3 until 5 p.m Sunday at the funeral home.
