PORT HURON-Mabel Woods, 84, of 1130 Youngs st., Port Huron, died today in Mercy Hospital afer a long illness.
She was born Dec. 25, 1891 in Applegate. She has been an area resident for 55 years.
She married Herbert C. Woods, Sept. 13, 1913, in Applegate. He died July 30, 1963.
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Howard (Doris) Gregory, Port Huron, a son, Clarence B. Woods, Port Huron; five grandchildren, two great grandchildren; several niecec and nephews.
The remains will be in the Hubert V. Lucas Funeral Home. Visitors may call the funeral home after 7 p.m. Saturday.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete.
Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Memorials may be make to the Wesleyan Church Memorial Fund.
