Mary E. Robbins
Mary E. Robbins, 89, of Merom, passed away at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 4, 2003, at Sullivan County Community Hospital.
Born June 27, 1913 in Pleasantville, she was the daughter of Silas and Easter (Sinkey) Howard.
She was retired from American Latex and Inmed Corporation. She was a member of the Merom Assembly of God Church.
Survivors include one son, Marion Robbins of Sullivan; three daughters, Pat Bergman of Sullivan, Shirley Burger of Jasonville and Sandra Criss of Merom; one sister, Villa Padgett of Linton; 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Robbins; and three brothers, Hosea Howard, Bill Howard and Herbert Howard.
Funeral service will be at Merom Assembly of God Church at 10 a.m. on Saturday with Bros. Paul Gray and Randy Andrews officiating. Burial will follow at Odd Fellows Cemetery at Carlisle.
NOTE: Mary is buried in Bethlehem Cemetery in Carlisle, Indiana.
