CONTRIBUTOR'S NOTE - July 2008
CONTRADICTION:
Headstone Application Form shows him as being buried in Oakwood Cemetery, in Parsons, Labette County, KS. However cemetery canvasing records, circa 1975, show him as being buried in South Mound Cemetery, Neosho County, KS. (side-note: I have verified that this headstone is, in fact, in South Mound Cemetery (photo attached).) Often, persons who reside ro pass in or around Parsons are buried in South Mound because of it's proximity to Parsons.
