(May 14, 1927 - April 19, 2008)
Mr. A. J. Adams (Uncle A. J.) ,Age 80, passed away Saturday, April 19, 2008. Mr. Adams, a World War II Veteran, was born in Yazoo City, MS in 1927 to Andrew Jackson Adams and Addie Frasier Adams. Mr. Adams was retired from Mississippi Chemical.
He is preceded in death by his Wife: Betty Sligh Adams, his parents, one brother: Thomas Clarence Adams, and one sister: Regina Hunt.
He is survived by three sisters: Alice Trammell, Velma Clunan, and Ann Reynolds. Uncle A. J. is also survived by numerous Nieces, and Nephews through kinship or friendship.
Visitation will be April 21, 2008 at Holder- Wells Funeral Home from 12- 2pm with a service being held in the chapel at 2pm with the Rev. M. L. McCormick to officiate.
Interment will be at Machpelah Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to St. Judes Hospital for Children.
